Autopsies
(Prices in U.S.Dollars)


Performance of Post-Mortem Examination (complete autopsy) .......................................... $4,500

Complete autopsy with examination by a Neuropathologist..................................................$6,500

Additional Fees may be incurred for toxicological/microbiology studies up to.......................$500

Review of medical records and preparation of comprehensive report, 4 hrs.........................$1,600

If I am unable to help in the case my maximum fee for case review is 2 hrs.........................$800

Retainer required to work on case.........................................................................................$1,000

Post Report Preparation/Consultation either with attorney or patient (per hour)...................$400

Depositions:

Videotape or Discovery Depositions (at my Salem Office), first hour....................................$1,000

Travel Expenses - Travel time at $300.00 per hour (car and air) plus mileage (car),
airfare, meals and lodging as applicable. Cancellation must be made 48 hours before scheduled trial testimony otherwise client agrees to pay ½ day Trial Appearance fee.

A rule of thumb in defining a standard case is that the medical records fit in an oversized envelope (12x15). If records are more voluminous then records review would be an additional $375 per hour.
